To say that the state of an average computer’s registry would be a surprise to most people would be an understatement. Just a few weeks, never mind months, of game playing and internet usage can leave a PC in desperate need of a computer registry cleaner.

To find the best registry repair, we must first check the registry itself to see the extent of the cleaning required. Over the past few years there have been several additions to the market of cleaning and repairing the registry of a PC.

These registry cleaners take the work out of cleaning up your registry. Before these cleaners individuals had to be trained in order to be able to access the registry, identify which files were safe to remove or were attached to the program that they were deleting and remove them.

The modern PC is clever in the way that it attempts to maximise resources by sharing relevant files of programmes, thereby reducing the overall memory usage. The knock on effect of this, however, is that by deleting files without properly assessing them, it is possible that we could be removing those that a needed by another programme.

When you look into windows XP registry repair programs it is a good idea to check into the reviews on the program. Make sure that not only does it have good reviews from the computer experts but that it also has good reviews from users. You want to know what people like you think about the program before you go out and spend your money on it.

Can you imagine running registry repair programme and discovering after it has finished that several of your programmes no longer work? Even worse than that, you have no way of retrieving them? This is entirely possible if you do not use the correct programme, and do not back up the system either before running it, or as part of the process itself.

There are a number of different programs on the market. Some of these programs are paid others freeware but the good ones all have a few things in common and all help to protect your computer from the issues that come from having a clogged registry.

As we have demonstrated, the impact of not having a clean computer registry can severly hinder the peformance of your computer. Some people even get to the stage of disposing of a PC and purchasing a new one because they assume that this is the only way to have one running at the speeds they need. This is generally not the case, which is why a registery cleaner is recommended.

System Registry Cleaner - What errors could there be? Review

Why would you need a computer registry cleaner? Do you really need to cleanup registry? Is a Registery Cleaner just a waste of time?

If we answer the first question, you will become aware of the answers to the next two questions (we’ll give you a clue, the answers are Yes, and No!)

If I was to list just some of the problems that your computer registery may be experiencing, it would probably go something like this:

Missing file associations - an error that could stop you opening documents or programs

Missing startup programs - a bug that could mean that some of the programmes that would initially start up when you booted up your PC are no longer there.

Others include:

1. Invalid device drivers

2. Invalid application paths

3. Missing DLL files

4. Missing help files

5. Missing system fonts

Some of these you will become aware of immediately, some may only crop up when you try and use a particulary programme, or open a particular document, or try and access a certain help file.

The only way to know for sure if you have problems with your computer registry, is to run a scan. There are various free and paid for computer registry cleaner scans you can carry out, which would quickly identify if you needed to carry out a system registry repair (these programmes can also help you clean up registry).
